Columbia College Chicago’s Renegades Quidditch team was established by Connor McCluskey in 2014. Starting with a team of just 9 players during the Chicago Marathon, the team was a sight to see as they went “brooms up” with what sticks they could find around the park. Since their humble beginnings, the team has grown to become one of Columbia’s most prominent teams and known organizations on campus. Now with a roster of 60 players and hosting their first tournament, The Chi-Wizard Tournament, on November 12th, the team has become more and more magical by the year.
